Giới thiệu

1. Profile:

Mr. Tan has Master degree in water treatment engineering and extensive practical experience in industrial water treatment plants like physical-chemical treatment, filtration technologies (MF, UF, RO ) and Ion Exchange. The objective in such projects is to continuous supply very high quality water at semi-conductor manufacturing company and recycling water at solar panel factory. He also managed Ultrapure water treatment plant project from installation, testing & commissioning to start up process and establish the operation and maintenance team and procedure. Tan used to work with WAVE application of DUPONT to design UF/RO/Polishing process. He also joined many international project to do the optimisation for water/wastewater treatment plant.

2. Working experience:

2019-2021

International work in projects:

• Technical application feasibility study for wastewater treatment with high concentrations of ammonia and nitrate from a fertilizer factory (Kazakhstan). Apply OLI software application to check the scale and corrosive of boiler system.

• Research applicable technology to remove cobalt in the wastewater of Avantium factory (Netherlands). The research showed some possible applications are: Precipitation, Electrolytic (DCE), Magnetic with ferrite precipitation, Ion exchange to remove cobalt in wastewater to very low concentrations.

• Review performance testing of STP Manfouha East and North (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

• Data processing and assessment for Chemours WWTP (Netherlands). The assessment has given input for improvement of the performance of WWTP.

• Data processing and assessment of operational performance STP AI Haer (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). The assessment has given input information for STP operation to increase the performance of the WWTP.

• Prefeasibility study for central WWTP Nghi Son economic zone (Vietnam). The project has proposed feasible technologies which should apply to central WWTP Nghi Son economic zone base on review type of production, capacity, cost, sustainable design principles, environmental impact and social impact.

Factory projects

2017-2019: DMT First Solar WWTP project management and process supervisor (Vietnam)

Capacity 2500 m3/d combined system: Metal wastewater treatment system applies the physical-chemical treatment (Coagulation, flocculation, lamella settling), microfilter (media filter and auto backflushing filter) and ion exchange; High COD wastewater treatment system utilized advanced oxidation process technology (UV, FeCl3, H2O2); high TSS wastewater treatment system treated by microfilter (5 and 25 micro bag filter).

• Testing & commissioning, startup, operation and maintenance supervisor.

• Set up operation and maintenance team, procedure and document. Prepare material and training for team member.

• Build up the preventive maintenance program for DMT First Solar WWTP comply with zero unplanned shutdown.

• Monitor testing result of wastewater discharge and work with Dong Nam industrial park for discharge permit.

 

2017-2019: Project management, Testing & commissioning, start-up, operation and maintenance supervisor for DMT First Solar recycling plant (Vietnam)

The wastewater treatment technology of this plant utilizes Pressure filter, chemical precipitation, evaporator technology to produce distilled water and reuse 100% for the solar panel recycling leaching process.

• Coordinate with experts from Shredtech, Veolia, Ventilex, etc. to install and start up shredder machine, evaporator machine, dryer machine, pressure filter machine.

• Set up operation and maintenance team. Prepare material and training for team member to run the system meet capacity 54 tons/d.

• Optimise wastewater treatment process with reduce chemical from precipitation process and evaporator process.

 

2017-2019: DMT First Solar Ultrapure water treatment plant (Viertnam), capacity 2500 m3/d project management. The treatment technologies involved in this system are multimedia filter, microfilter, RO, CEDI, ion exchange, and UV sterilizer.

• Installation management, testing & commissioning, startup, operation and maintenance supervisor.

• Set up operation and maintenance team, procedure and document. Prepare material and training for team members.

• Procurement spare part and consumable for operation and maintenance plant.

• Build up the preventive maintenance program to comply with zero unplan shutdown, supply qualified water to the production area.

2014-2017: Intel Vietnam biological wastewater treatment plant 300 m3/d.

The treatment applies anoxic, moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR), aeration tank, clarifier, and microfilter, etc. The wastewater discharge to Saigon High Tech Park (SHTP)  (QCVN 40:2011 class A).

• Testing & commissioning, startup, operation and maintenance supervisor.

• Set up operation and maintenance program to make sure wastewater discharge always comply with SHTP standard requirements.

 

2013-2017: Testing & commissioning, start-up, operation and maintenance supervisor for 300 m3/d water reclaim treatment system at Intel factory. (Vietnam)

This industrial wastewater recycle plant for the irrigation purpose with disc-filter combine with ultraviolet sterilizer technology.

2012-2017 Operation and maintenance supervisor at Intel factory 1200 m3/d industrial wastewater treatment plant (Vietnam)

• Manage the spare part and consumable, annual operation budget of the plant.

• Work with I&C team to optimise P&ID pH control to eliminate chemical overdosing and save operational costs.

2012 -2017 Operation and maintenance supervisor at Intel factory 7200 m3/d ultrapure water (UPW) treatment plant (Vietnam).

The treatment technologies involved in this plant are multimedia filter, micro filter, RO, mixed bed ion exchange, polishing ion exchange and ultraviolet sterilizer.

• Manage the spare part and consumable, annual operation budget of the plant.

• Manage the excellent operation to make sure UPW system meet water quality supply and zero unplanned shutdown.

• Improve the SCADA for smoothly control UPW pressure supply.

• Support mechanical team to manage cooling tower and chiller system in water issues.

• Manage the KAIZEN program for facility team to save cost from energy; water consumption and clearance of safety concern from working area.

• Lead 5S program for facility team.
